Three Physics faculty members were recently recognized with awards from Arts & Sciences, celebrating their contributions to university leadership, inclusive excellence, and research.
Erik Henriksen – Emerging Leadership Award
Professor Erik Henriksen received the Emerging Leadership Award, a newly established honor recognizing a rising faculty leader who has demonstrated tremendous service to Washington University and Arts & Sciences.
Mairin Hynes – Dean’s Award for Inclusive Excellence
Teaching Professor Mairin Hynes received the Dean’s Award for Inclusive Excellence, an annual award recognizing Arts & Sciences faculty who advance inclusive excellence through their research, teaching and mentoring, or service that contributes to a stronger campus culture.
Sheng Ran – Dean’s Early-Career Research Award
Associate Professor Sheng Ran received the Dean’s Early-Career Research Award, a new honor recognizing outstanding achievements in research and creative activity by scholars who have recently been awarded tenure.
These three awards reflect the important role faculty play in shaping the university through their research, leadership, teaching, mentorship, and service. We are proud to celebrate Erik, Mairin, and Sheng and their accomplishments, and to see their contributions recognized by Arts & Sciences.
